What is Mediation?

Mediation is a cost-effective way to resolve disagreement without the need for legal intervention or litigation.  It is a voluntary process, where all parties need to consent to participation. As a neutral facilitator, the mediator will work through sticking points and troublesome issues, in a private and confidential space. The aim is to arrive at a binding settlement agreeable to all.

Mediation provides the participants with the opportunity to express their views, re-opens communication for negotiation and ultimately empowers participants to determine their agreed outcome.
